Vas has over 25 years of experience in technology and manufacturing industries. He is a management consultant and an executive coach to senior executives from various companies including Honeywell, Verizon, Aurobindo Pharma and Manipal.

He has spent more than two decades in US and has worked in key positions with various companies including Ford, US Steel, Commerce One and Sonasoft. He has extensive international experience covering North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Also, he has hands on experience in Marketing, International Sales, Strategy, Manufacturing (Aero/Auto/Metal) and M&A. He understands the technology and start-up ecosystem. He helped raise $10 million for Silicon Valley based startup and also successfully got the company approved to go public. He worked on the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) being developed for the Indian Air Force.

Vas is a certified Master Blackbelt Product Management Professional™ and he conducts Design Thinking workshops. He also conducts leadership training for middle management and senior executives from different industries. He is a guest lecturer for MBA students in business schools.

Vas holds a B. Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, M.E. in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Ph.D. in Mechanical Engg from University of Miami and M.B.A. from University of Michigan (Ross), Ann Arbor. Vas is accredited as CEO Coach by Coaching Foundation India (CFI).
